This journey takes you from the bustling city of Antananarivo (Tana) to iconic sites such as the Tsingy de Bemaraha, Baobab Avenue, Isalo National Park, and Ranomafana. Day 1: Arrival in Antananarivo (Tana)

Upon your arrival in Antananarivo, you will be welcomed by a private driver and guide who will transfer you to your hotel. You can relax and settle in after your journey. Depending on your arrival time, you can enjoy the comfort of your centrally located hotel, which provides easy access to explore the city.

Day 2: Tana to Antsirabe (4 hours)

After breakfast, you’ll embark on a scenic drive to Antsirabe. The road trip offers plenty of opportunities to stop and capture the beauty of the Malagasy countryside, with views of rolling hills, rice paddies, and vibrant local life. Lunch at the restaurant and accommodation in the hotel.

Day 3: Antsirabe to Morondava

Today, you’ll take a full-day drive from Antsirabe to Morondava. Along the way, you may stop for a break or lunch at Miandrivazo or enjoy a picnic lunch en route. The scenic drive will provide an introduction to Madagascar’s diverse landscapes. Once you reach Morondava, relax and settle in at Hotel.

Day 4: Morondava to Bekopaka (via Baobab Avenue)

An early departure from Morondava will take you on a full-day off-road adventure to Bekopaka. Along the way, you’ll stop at the iconic Baobab Avenue for photos, one of Madagascar’s most famous landscapes. You will cross the Tsiribihina and Manambolo rivers by ferry, adding an exciting element to the journey. Lunch will be at a local restaurant in Belo Tsiribihina before continuing the off-road journey to Bekopaka. Accommodation in the hotel.

Day 5: Exploring Big Tsingy, Bekopaka

Start your day early as you venture into the Big Tsingy area, known for its dramatic limestone formations. The hike through this UNESCO World Heritage site lasts for about 4 hours, offering awe-inspiring views of the towering pinnacles and narrow canyons. Afterward, return to the village of Bekopaka for a short walk to explore local life. It’s advisable to bring a torch and sunscreen due to the hot climate. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 6: Manambolo Gorge and Small Tsingy

Today, explore the beautiful Manambolo Gorge, where you will take a traditional canoe ride through the river to reach the gorge. This is an incredible opportunity to witness the stunning natural beauty of the area. Afterward, visit the Small Tsingy, which offers similar formations to the Big Tsingy, but on a smaller scale. You’ll spend the night at Hotel.

Day 7: Bekopaka to Kirindy

Leave Bekopaka early to make your way back on the same off-road route, heading towards Kirindy. Upon arrival, enjoy a relaxed afternoon to recuperate at your hotel. You will stay at either Hotel Relais de Kirindy or Kirindy Park Lodge, where you can unwind and enjoy the tranquility of the area.

Day 8: Kirindy to Morondava

After breakfast, head to Kirindy Reserve for a morning visit, known for its wildlife including the rare Fossa, Madagascar’s largest carnivore, as well as lemurs, chameleons, and diverse bird species. Afterward, enjoy lunch at the park before driving back to Morondava. On your return, stop at Baobab Avenue to witness a magical sunset. Spend the night at hote in Morondava.

Day 9: Morondava to Belo sur Mer

Today, you will drive south on an off-road route to Belo sur Mer. The journey takes about 4 hours, and once you arrive, you can unwind at your ecolodge, Ecolodge du Menabe. In the afternoon, enjoy a range of activities, including swimming or a visit to the mangroves, before resting for the evening. Lunch at the restaurant and accommodation in the lodge.

Day 10: Belo sur Mer to Madiorano

Leave Belo sur Mer early in the morning and continue your drive south, crossing the Bevoay River and passing through the town of Manja. You’ll stop for lunch at the Kanto Hotel or bring a picnic. Continue your journey to Madiorano (also known as Mangily or Ifaty), accommodation in the hotel.

Day 11: Madiorano (Mangily/Ifaty)

Spend the day exploring the area of Madiorano (Mangily/Ifaty). One of the highlights is a visit to the “Village de Tortue,” where you can see wild tortoises in their natural habitat. Afterward, enjoy some time to relax at your hotel or explore the coastal area. Lunch at the restaurant and overnight at the hotel.

Day 12: Madiorano to Ranohira

Today, you’ll start early for a full-day drive to Ranohira, passing through scenic landscapes and bringing along a picnic lunch. Upon arrival, check into your accommodations at either Hotel H1 where you can rest and prepare for the next day’s adventure.

Day 13: Explore Isalo National Park

Isalo National Park is one of Madagascar’s most iconic sites. Known for its dramatic landscapes, the park features canyons, natural pools, and striking rock formations. You will explore the park with a guide, taking in its stunning beauty. Afterward, return to your hotel for an overnight stay at Hotel H1.

Day 14: Ranohira to Ranomafana

On this day, you’ll leave Ranohira early and head to Ranomafana, stopping at Anja Reserve to witness the playful ring-tailed lemurs in their natural paradise. Afterward, continue your journey to Ranomafana, where you will check into either Hotel Le Grenat. In the evening, you have the option to take a nocturnal tour to spot chameleons and the smallest lemur species.

Day 15: Discover Ranomafana National Park

Ranomafana National Park is rich in biodiversity, home to several species of lemurs, geckos, chameleons, and unique plants. You’ll take a guided tour of the park in the morning, followed by a relaxing afternoon at your hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 16: Ranomafana to Antsirabe

Leave Ranomafana early in the morning for the return drive to Antsirabe. You will arrive late in the day and check into a hotel close to the airport for convenience. Lunch at the restaurant in Ambositra city. Accommodation in the hotel.

Day 17: Antsirabe to airport Ivato Tana

On your final day, enjoy a relaxing breakfast before being transferred to the airport for your flight home. This marks the end of your unforgettable journey through Madagascar’s incredible landscapes and wildlife.
